A Trip To Samurai Hibachi Steak House & Sushi Bar Makes It LITERALLY Possible For Fine Dining On A Budget

Sometimes Mondays get the best of us and we feel like we literally CAN’T survive. On top of that, sometimes it feels like Rowan lacks in variety of food choices. (Or they make you pay a ridiculous remaining balance for a salad without chicken because they, “ran out.”)  But there is an alternative for those who are tired of the same ol’ Student Center food and want a decent meal for a cheap price:

Samurai Hibachi Steak House & Sushi Bar!

Samurai Hibachi Steak House & Sushi Bar is located at 646 North Delsea Dr., in Glassboro, NJ. It is only about a 2 minute drive from campus.

With midterms and spring break coming up, we can easily consider this, ‘Hell Week, Part I.’ We think, “Do I go to the gym so I can look skinny in my Cancun pictures or do I study for my Journalism midterm that makes absolutely no sense?” To add to that, we’re broke from paying off spring break and in between these GOD-AWFUL decisions, we need to eat! ‘The Caf’ usually does not cut it because let’s be honest, that’s like serving pizza backstage at Victoria’s Secret Fashion show; torture. So, on my crappy Monday this week, sushi was calling my name.

This sign located next to the front door is sure to brighten up anyone’s day. “DINE IN 50% OFF SUSHI.” An even better part of this deal is that you can use Borobucks!

My order from the left: $2.50 Kani Roll and $6.00 Spicy Santa Roll. Above: $4.50 Kani Salad.

Rowan University’s bundle of life and my best friend, Kelly Flynn, was spotted next to our table while playing with her, “Less Sodium Soy Sauce.”

The always handsome, Jonathan Pucci, student of Rowan University, struggles with his chop sticks while attempting to eat his 50% off Sushi.

“Not only is Samurai delicious, but the prices are amazing. I can take my girlfriend out to eat whenever she’s in a bad mood on a Monday and only spend a few bucks. It’s the best of both worlds, really,” admitted Pucci.

Here’s the proof! For only $19.00 we enjoyed a wonderful Japanese meal and I literally did survive my Monday.
